This lasts for 6 seconds and in order to avoid damage everyone should stop attacking.

Tavarock is a tougher fight then he may look. He has two noteable abilities. One is his Earthquake ability, which will damage everyone and stun everyone for 3 seconds. His other ability is Crystal Prison. This ability will stun a target and deal damage equal to 10% of their total health over 5 seconds.
Nexus-Prince Shaffar
Nexus-Prince Shaffar has a few abilites that he will use, but only one is worth mentioning. At the start of the fight he will have two Ethereal Beacons. These need to be quickly killed otherwise they will turn into stronger ethereals that you will need to kill. Every 10 seconds Shaffar will summon more Beacons that will need to be killed. Keep killing the beacons throughout the fight and you'll do fine.
The Mana Tombs themselves are a wing for players level 64-66 that mainly house energy mummy type creatures called ethereals. The instance is another example of how much Blizzard learned from the initial release of WoW and the release of the BC. Pandemonius and Shaffer are very entertaining and challenging fights, which make the instance all that much more fun to run.
